After installing the app on a virtual Windows 10 machine (parallels) it kills my Start Menu. It seems to be triggered when pinning the app to the Start menu. I need to revert to a pre parallels snapshot to get the Start menu back. I have replicated the problem.

1Password Version: Windows 10 Beta

    @Woodrel,

    I believe this is a known Windows 10 issue. There are lots of things that do this, and it is well documented on the web. I've had the problem when cloning a Windows 10 VM.

    I haven't seen that problem, @Woodrel, and I've installed the app on Windows 10 on a Lumia phone, a Surface Pro 2, and a VMware virtual machine.

    What version and build of Windows 10 are you using?

    @DBrown It's Version 1511, OS Build 10586.104. I'll try it on another machine when I get time.

    Thanks for the follow-up, @Woodrel!

    I use that same build and version on my own VMware virtual machine.

    Please let us know what you find, later, and thanks for your help!

    It seems that 1Password was not the problem. I repaired my broken Start menu and reinstalled 1Password beta and everything is working fine.

  • Thanks for letting us know @Woodrel, I was curious how we could damage Start menu :)
