merge vaults

i have a nicely made vault existing on windows 7 ultimate inside my dropbox folder.
I am trying to sync my new mac to that vault so that i can bring that vaults contents to my mac.
I had already set up a vault on my mac, it only has one thing in it. I don't care if it has to be trashed i just want all my logins from windows on my mac. what should i do?

Hi @siemer,

If deleting the one item in 1Password for Mac is of no consequence, the easiest way to do this would be to

1. Start over on the Mac and
2. Using the vault from your Windows 7 PC, synced to the Mac via Dropbox.

If you wish to keep the one item, you can always use File > Export… to export the one item into a 1Password Interchange File (.1pif) and import it once the vault from your Windows 7 PC has been set up on the Mac.
