I purchased the pro version on my iPad but my laptop says I am still using the demo version, How do I fix that?

1 Password for iOS and for Windows are two different products. If you want to use 1Password on Windows you'll have to buy it separately from iOS, you can do that here: https://agilebits.com/store

The answer to your first question is yes, you can sync between them. There are several ways to do it, including Wi-Fi and Dropbox. You can read more about this here: https://guides.agilebits.com/1password-windows/4/en/topic/sync-options.
To check whether you bought the Pro Features for your iPad you should go to Setting in the app, and then down to Pro Features.

@kathyg: Indeed, you can actually sync your data with the trial version, as it's fully functional.
