My 1Password extension isn't working either in Firefox (version 44.0.2); it is there on the toolbar but nothing happens when I click on it. I am using Windows 7 and the extension version is 4.5.4, which appears to be the most recent version of the extension. Any suggestions?

@Carlynhillmer: It isn't a particularly common issue, but it may be related to the fact that you'll have an update pending in Firefox. Please update to Firefox 45, restart your PC, and let me know if that helps. :)

OK, I updated to 45 and still nothing happens when I click on it. Any other suggestions?

  • Hi @Carlynhillmer,

Can you click a few more times to generate additional logs and then generate the 1Password diagnostics report for us to look at.

Please use this guide to generate the report and email it to us at support+windows@agilebits.com. Also, in the email, include the link to this thread along with your forum username, so that we can connect the email to this thread.

Let us know here when you've sent it, so we can confirm we got the email.

I just got this message regarding the email I sent to you: mx.google.com rejected your message to the following email addresses:
    support+windows@agilebits.com (support+windows@agilebits.com)
Your message wasn't delivered because the recipient's email provider rejected it.
    mx.google.com gave this error:
This message was blocked because its content presents a potential security issue. Please visit https://support.google.com/mail/answer/6590 to review our message content and attachment content guidelines. f3si1072101pas.21 - gsmtp

It did not seem to like the attached diagnostics report.

  • Hi @Carlynhillmer,

That's unusual, we received other reports just fine. Can you tell me what the size is for your zipped report file? We don't use any of the file extensions that Gmail disallows.

Do you have a cloud storage account where you can upload the report to and share the link with us, like Dropbox? If yes, can you do that instead and email the link to us at support+windows@agilebits.com along with the link to this thread?

I tried using another email account to send the report and it appears to have gone through. If you don't get it, let me know and I will try the Dropbox route. But I haven't gotten an error message this time, so hopefully, it has gone through.

  • Hi @Carlynhillmer,

Yes, that worked. We got the report and we will reply to your email as soon as we finish analyzing the report.

    Thanks!
