Apps, extensions and user scripts cannot be added from this website.
I'm running 1Password 3.8.22.
Chrome 49.0.2623.87 (64-bit)
Cannot find a Chrome extension to work with this except for v3.6.3 on the Legacy versions page here https://help.agilebits.com/1Password3/legacy_versions.html
I've downloaded this extension version and it appears as a .crx file. When I double click on it the Chrome extensions page opens and I get the message: "Apps, extensions and user scripts cannot be added from this website."
Is it still possible to have a 1Password extension on this older version of Chrome?
Thanks for your help. Paul

@paulbc: Sorry for the confusion! You're actually using the current version of Chrome, but 1Password 3 (and its extensions) isn't being updated to support newer browsers. It was discontinued years ago. And unfortunately Google is also discontinuing support for Chrome on Snow Leopard, Lion, and Mountain Lion next month.
You may be able to find an old version of Firefox that will work with the old extension (newer than 38 won't work) since Chrome doesn't really allow downgrading, but that's not something I'd recommend since you'd be foregoing both an OS that's still supported and getting security fixes and a browser that's in the same predicament. I'm sorry I don't have better news for you, but be sure to let me know if you have any other questions.
