How to set up for two people
I bought 1password last year but I'm still not sure how to set it up. My husband and I have macs, iphones and an ipad. He's 75, often forgets passwords and refuses to change them. Do I need Families or should I just set up the system, create a folder for him and then sync it on icloud?

As you've already paid, it's best to use the license you have. You can just install 1Password on all computers you need. Also create vaults for all computers. iCloud syncing is okay, you don't need to create folder prior to it.

Hi @capsperf,
Thank you for reaching out to us for help setting up 1Password for you and your husband!
Our new 1Password for Families service makes it easy to set up 1Password and share vaults with family members, but it's possible to share vaults even without signing up for a Families subscription. The best option will depend largely on your current setup.
For example, would you and your husband like to to share all your 1Password data with each other across all your Macs and iOS devices? Or do you each want to have a vault for your own private data, and then create a secondary vault for the data you'll share with each other? If you want to use iCloud sync, do you both share the same Apple ID? Or do you have separate Apple IDs?
iCloud sync will only work with the Primary vault in 1Password on each Mac/iOS device, and unfortunately iCloud does not let you share your data with a different Apple ID. However, if you and your husband use the same Apple ID and want to share all your 1Password data with each other using just a Primary vault, you can use the iCloud sync option.
Another option to sync your data between Macs & iOS devices is Dropbox sync. Dropbox sync can be used for any vault in 1Password (not just the Primary vault) and it can also be used to share any of your vaults with someone else's Dropbox account.
Are you and/or your husband currently using 1Password on any of your devices, or do you need help to get started with that? If you haven't started to use 1Password yet, a great place to start is the 'Introduction' section of our user guide: Welcome to 1Password for Mac
If you can let us know a bit more about how you and your husband would like to use 1Password, we'll be happy to give more specific steps & information about how to get things set up. Thanks, and looking forward to hearing back from you! :)

Thanks ollifi.
Drew, we don't need to share anything, we both have our own computer and Apple IDs. The main thing we need is to have access to 1password on all our computers, iphones and ipad. We have dropbox installed. We only have 1password installed on my laptop at the moment so while I'm waiting for your reply, I'll read the 1password for Mac link you sent. Thank you.

Hi @capsperf,
If you want to each have your own vaults that you don't share with each other and you each have your own Dropbox account then the best way forward would be that.
The link Drew posted should help. In there is Running 1Password for the first time which has a section titled Create your first vault.
Then the Sync with Dropbox should help in setting up syncing from 1Password for Mac to Dropbox. If you want to then connect another Mac to this vault our page Sync existing Dropbox data (Mac) will help. If you want to connect 1Password for iOS to this vault then our page Existing 1Password user (iOS) should help. The last two assume fresh copies of 1Password that will either want you to create a vault or connect to a source of data. Using Dropbox makes this fairly easy.
You may have a number of questions and if you do we're here to answer them  I hope some of that information helps though.
