    Hi there. I'm having the same issue. It says my trial of 1Password 6 is over but when I have the licenses emailed to me, there's no file, just a copy/paste license code. Can you help? Thanks!

    @myra: Thanks for reaching out. I hope you don't mind, but I've split you off into a separate discussion so we can focus on your situation.

    Indeed, 1Password 6 uses a license file. If you only have a 1Password 3 license key, I'm afraid that isn't valid for 1Password 6. Did you perhaps purchase a later version from the Mac App Store? If not, you can use your existing license to get a discount on the upgrade. But also consider 1Password for Families instead, if you'd like to also secure and share with your loved ones.
