Forgot Master Password / Starting Fresh

I forgot my password and want to start completely over with 1password.
Can you throw away my existing safe?

Forgetting your Master Password is not exactly fun, but I'm glad to hear that you didn't lose anything important. Just to clarify, the information is saved locally in your device, so AgileBits can't throw away your current vault. However, you can start over with an empty vault by following the instructions here: https://support.1password.com/starting-over/ios.html.

Keep in mind that this will permanently delete all your data, so be sure this is what you want. :chuffed:

Thanks for the heads up. I'll check with our docs team and see where/why those articles have gone. Those were optional steps though, so you should be able to skip over them.
