I was able to backup the file to my computer, but it says data file not a directory

I keep getting errors, it won't take my iphone data backup as a legit format on my pc, there is a zip file

Hi @pauljmancini,

The iOS backups can only be restored in the iOS or Mac apps, the Windows program cannot restore from this backup file.

You would need to sync the data from your iPhone to your PC using Wi-Fi or Dropbox and let the Windows app back up your data automatically.
