For Wifi sync I'm asked if I want to download Bonjour for Windows - why? Do I need it?

When I go to File/Wifi sync I'm asked if I want to download Bonjour for Windows (an Apple product). Do I need it? I haven't used iTunes for years because I use iCloud so I'm confused about any requirement for Bonjour. Is there a way for me to sync using iCloud instead?

    Hi @Druid6331,

Bonjour is a zero-configuration network service that helps apps find each other on the local Wi-Fi network, in this case, help 1Password for iOS find the Windows app on the network without you knowing the IP address and the port. iTunes is a separate product that also uses Bonjour to find the iOS devices in the network but iTunes is not required to be installed.

In this case, yes, you do need to install Bonjour to use the Wi-Fi sync.

At the moment, the Apple's CloudKit APIs we use to power the iCloud sync in 1Password is not yet available on Windows.
