1Password is crashing

Hi guys, any status update on 1Password Teams working on Windows 10? 1Password 4 for Windows doesn't support Teams right?
I'm getting my dad (a strict pc-only user) to use 1Password with me and I've set us up as a "team" to share accounts.
Problem is, the beta that he's using on Windows 10 keeps crashing and is not helping me convince him that this is going to be great.
Thanks for any update!0 -
Hi @brian_covalt,
Sorry to hear about your troubles.
I'd like to ask you to create a Diagnostics Report from your Windows PC:Sending Diagnostics Reports (Windows)
Attach the Diagnostics Report(s) to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.
Please do not post your Diagnostics Report(s) in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report(s) in our inbox.
You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can track down the report(s) and ensure that this issue is dealt with quickly. :)
Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks very much!

Send the Diagonistics Report using the "Email Us" link in the 1Password app, but I don't think it attached the report.. not certain though. Hopefully you get it.
I can recreate the crash every time. All I have to do is create a new login, have 1Password generate a new password, copy it to my clipboard, click on save.. and crash.0 -
Which version are you using exactly?

I just tried to reproduce the crash but wasn't able to. I'm using version 2016.4.2600.

@brian_covalt there is an issue with dates in some items, incorrect default value for the date field cause app to crash. It's fixed and will be available with next update. Hope this helps.

Hi Alex,
I'm also using 2016.4.2600Still happens, I create a new login, type in the title, the username, and have the app generate a password. I copy that password, then I click on save, and it crashes. When I reopen the app, that newest login entry is not there - it didn't save.
My work around is to create the new login without generating a password (leaving it blank). Then save and close. Reopen, then I can generate a password and save again, and it won't crash.0 -
@brian_covalt thanks for details and workaround, I'll go ahead and check what could go wrong with password generator. Meanwhile, please try check for updates in your Store app, a new update has been released an hour or two ago.

Hi @brian_covalt,
I'm not yet able to reproduce this crasher with the password generator in the latest build, 2015.5.302. Could you try again and let us know if it is still happening.
Thanks!
