Trouble with Chrome

I got warning message from Chrome stating that my install of the 1Password extension (which I have been using for years) may not be trusted etc. So I go ahead and install the latest version of the extension. Now I am getting a message from 1Password stating that I need to install the 1Password App for Mac.

It appears I am required to have one of the newer versions of the Mac OS (which I do not) to install the app.

Is there no way to use the 1Password Chrome extension with my current Mac operating system (10.7.5)?

    Hi @Brennan,

    For 1Password 3, it’s important that you’re using the appropriate extension. The ‘new’ 1Password extension is not compatible with the version of 1Password that you’re using. Please download the appropriate version from our extension download page. This should work better for you. :)
