File menu location with import option
The import instructions say: 1. Open and unlock 1Password. 2. From the File menu, choose Import. 3. Follow the onscreen instructions to import your data from LastPass. My question is where is the file menu with the import option?

Import instructions say:
1. Open and unlock 1Password.
2. From the File menu, choose Import.
3. Follow the onscreen instructions to import your data from LastPass.I'm new to 1Password and I can't locate the file menu. In some of what I have read it says there is supposed to be a menu bar? Is that on a different application from logging in on Windows? (I apologize if this question is already posted. I hadn't confirmed my email address when I submitted it the first time, so I wasn't sure if it actually posted.)

Hi @mel_sorensen,
Sorry for the confusion here. These instructions refer to the older version of 1Password for Windows.
The best way to create a file that 1Password 4 for Windows can import, is to use the community supported importers. You will have to set up a new vault (database file) in 1Password 4 for Windows after installing it, then convert the data using the data conversion tools I linked to above, import said data into the app, and lastly open the now filled vault in the new app.
From here you can transfer it into your 1Password Families or 1Password Teams account.I'm sorry if this is convoluted for the beta version of 1Password for Windows. We're working on improving this process.
