1Password v6 and browser plugin issues [Will be improved soon]
(I'm entering separate topics for each problem, I think that makes more sense)
Using Chrome on Windows, the 1Password v6 plugin needs some work.
- No way to search for entries,
- No way to copy a particular portion of an entry (like one-time password or something)
Is this a user error (am I doing something wrong), or does it just need more work?

Same problem here. The browser Extension in Google Chrome is pretty useless. It is not possible to choose from different passwords or generate new ones. The extension fills out the form (after a site reload) when there is a password or it shows this.
Using Chrome v50 and tried both the browser extension and the beta one.

@jeffc, @dbarchmann: Indeed, the beta's new browser integration is in its infancy, so we'll be improving its communication with the app and adding support for search and item access. Make sure you're using the latest version of the app, as we've just added support for it to access the full database (not just the items currently displayed). The best is yet to come. Thanks for the feedback! :)

Hi guys,
Just to clarify, 1Password 6 as a whole is a brand new program and that also means the extension won't have everything right off the bat, we're slowly implementing everything back in a better and more efficient method than what we had before.

That's perfect. It allows us to focus on the issue itself, link it against our bug report, and follow up later when we have a solution. It also let others report the same issue.
No way to search for entries,
It's on the list to implement.
No way to copy a particular portion of an entry (like one-time password or something)
We're working on fixing the TOTP support in the desktop app as it doesn't display them either. We do plan to add it to the extension view as well.
It is not possible to choose from different passwords or generate new ones.
For the moment, you would have to generate it in the desktop app. We do plan to implement it fully in the extension view in the future.
The extension fills out the form (after a site reload) when there is a password or it shows this.
These are known issues we're working on right now, it shouldn't be reloading at all. As for the no matching item found, we have a bug where it is too tight when it is matching the Login item's saved URL against the browser's address bar. It needs to be flexible and we're working on it as we speak. Once we fix this, it should be matching more accurately on all sites.
