Upgrade or purchase of 1Password for Windows

I've been a long time user of 1Password. I've purchased 1Password 3 from Agilebits, 1Password 6 (from Mac App store), and also purchased 1Password for iOS (and I think I even purchased 1Password 4 though I can't remember now!).

In any case, I've now moved to a new office environment where my assigned computer is a Windows-based laptop (boo!!). I'm trying to figure out if my licenses from the various Mac versions of my 1Password allows me to get the Windows version at a discount. In addition, because I work at a university, is there an educational discount?

@tiantai: Well then I'm glad you got in touch! We can definitely do something to help. :chuffed:

Oh, it's not so bad! ONE OF US!

We don't have "educational licenses" anymore, but the upgrade discount is better than those ever were anyway. I'll send you some additional information in a private message, so be sure to check for that and let me know if you have any questions! :)

Thank you, @brenty. I got the code and now have purchased a Windows licence :)

Windows is ok. It's really the machines that tend to be clunky and cheap feeling.

I'm in a similar situation @brenty - have a fistful of 1Password Mac and iOS licenses (up to the current version), but I haven't had the "use Windows" gun pointed at my head for several years, so my license there is so old it doesn't even have a version number. Looking at the pricing pages, it isn't even clear that the Mac and Windows licenses are still sold separately, but per this thread that's true? Anyway, I need one of those upgrade coupons too, please. :-7

BTW, was in an Apple Store yesterday, and heard two different employees recommend 1Password as "the app for that". :-)

@Hendel: You're welcome! Or rather, thank you for your support! I wouldn't be here otherwise!

I know what you mean! There are some really nice PCs out there too, but I ca't always afford something flashy. :money:

We don't sell separate Windows and Mac licenses anymore, just a single desktop license for 1Password. It can be a bit tricky in situations like that, but that's what we're here for. I'll send you a private message with upgrade information. ;)

Wow! That's pretty cool. Thanks for letting us know! :chuffed:
