Windows Beta update notification
I have the Win 10 beta installed on my laptop. I notice there's no option to check for updates. When a new update comes out, will I get a notification, or do I just have to watch this forum for news? And can I update from the app itself, or do I need to reinstall altogether?

@MDBrown the universal app (from the Store) is updated automatically, usually at night, by the Store app. On latest Windows builds you will see notifications what updates has been recently installed. You can also force it to update by clicking "Check for updates" at "Downloads and updates" in the Store app.
The desktop app (Windows 7+) is checking for updates every time before it starts. If there is an update, it will give you choice of installing or skipping a release.
In both cases, no reinstall is needed. We may force start over by renaming database file sometimes, as both apps are at beta stage and we are improving/adding to the core areas.
Hope that helps :)

Hi @MDBrown,
In addition to what Sergey said, there's an option in the Windows' Store app to check for updates automatically. To get there, open the Store app, click on your account next to the search field on top right to select Settings. You'll see the option to enable automatic app updates like so:
