Lost data after moving
Hello, new to the forums. :) I used 1password 4 Trial on Windows and I'm very happy with that application. Now I'm looking to switch from that trial to a Family account. So I signed up for Family Trial, installed the Windows beta application, logged in, loaded my vault, moved from vault to family account and... I've lost quite a bit of information in the process.
The most important information is the websites. No website information got transfered. If I check any login, there is NO website information available. So when I install the beta app at work and I can't use a browser plugin (chrome) because it can't correlate the page I'm looking at with any login. Very frustrating to have to manually look up all the logins. Is this a known issue and is there a timeline when this will be fixed.
Besides that, I've lost the ability to add multiple addresses to one login. I tried setting websites manually for some stuff, but when I got to a work account (that uses one password on different sites), I could only add a single website to the family login template. Again, quite annoying. Is this being added or is this the new way of working (1 login, 1 site)?
Third thing that struck me as odd is that I couldn't find the password generation tool anywhere until I tried to create a new login. Now I have to log the information twice, once in the app and once in the website. The old tool gave me a nice generate password screen and then captured the login. Are you adding that functionality or is this again a new way of working with 1Password?
After working with your very awesome 1Password 4 application, this Family product doesn't feel like a finished product, especially on Windows.
1Password Version: 2016.6.510d
Extension Version: 4.5.7.2 and 4.5.6.90
OS Version: Windows 7 and 10
Sync Type: Family Sync

Hi @KenBonny and welcome to the forums! :)
1Password 4 is a good app, but it was quite hard to continue to build on top of it and we have started making completely new 1Password 6.
The copy process should have transferred all data except attachments. However, application does not render on screen all it has, only bits that it can recognize. That might made you believe that something is lost. Here is a trick to test if data has been transferred correctly:
- Type /iddqd in search box and hit ENTER, it will open settings
- On "Advanced" tab turn on "Copy JSON", now you have one extra button in item viewer
- Select item that you believe might have lost some data, click Copy JSON
- Paste text to some text editor, so you can examine the content of the item
If there is something missing, please get in touch with us via support+windowsmodern@agilebits.com - we will find the way to fix.
As for multiple URLs for the same site - we need to improve item viewer, it's going to be fixed soon. Thanks for your feedback!

And thank you for such a quick and detailed answer. This makes me feel my passwords are in the right hands.
And yes, all data is present. :)
