  • Hi @kobi12,

1Password 4 for Windows is usable via WINE, we have a lot of folks using it.

We are mainly focused on the stability of the core foundations in 1Password 6 right now, it is a brand new app that's being built on .NET 4.6 codebase whereas 1Password 4 is using a mature Delphi codebase. This changes the WINE compatibility radically, so we don't know yet how much of it will work.

Once we're stable, we'll look at what we can do for Linux.

  • We keep Linux in mind with all the changes happening, but as Mike correctly put we need to get app stable first.

I'd be interested in this too. Hopefully .NET means it could run natively using Mono (without too much effort)

Hopefully. It's something we'll explore more in the future, perhaps once we're no longer doing multiple updates per day — that is, if Sergey is capable of slowing down.

  • Slow down? No way!

We are looking to enable Linux sooner than later.
