Will 1Password 6 have all the tricks from current 1Password 4 ?
1Password 6 Beta looks really promising and I look forward to use the stable version later this year !
I'm curious whether the 1Passoword 6 will be inheriting all the goodies from 1Password 4 such as secure desktop unlock functionality and so on.
Thank you guys for great work !!

Hi @dwk,
I'm glad you like it so far.
That's the goal but at the same time, 1Password 4 is complicated to use. So, we're focusing on making it more powerful while keeping it simple, by doing more with less. The Multiple Vaults support alone is a huge jump in simplification with the ability to copy/move items between vaults without having to switch and entering the vault password for each one.
It is possible not all features will make it, at least not for this year.

Hi @dwk,
You're welcome but don't let this stop you from requesting new features or sharing suggestions on the next stuff we should work on.
We do prioritize based on what our customers want and right now, the extension support is very high on our list, so we have to finish that sooner before we can work on the rest.

If I may, there is one suggestion that I would like to propose.
My password is well over 30 characters and the current 1Password 6 Beta's login password field (when you first launch the app) makes it harder for me to recognize that I typed something after certain number of characters since the password field does not expand.
During the very early stages of the Beta the login password field actually expanded depending how long my password was which allowed me to easily see if I typed a character or not.
Is there a specific reason for the change ?

Hi @dwk,
I've updated my post but I think you might be referring to the password field when you're attempting to sign into your 1Password account the first time, it was expanding as you type more. This isn't the normal behavior as there's no constraint on that view, so it can grow as much as it wants to fit the width.
The lock view however is fixed and cannot grow, we don't have any plans to make changes to this view but we'll take your feedback into consideration.
