Need a way to access "Saved form details" in 1Password Browser
Hi,
Would it be possible to allow us to access the "Saved form details" in the 1Password Browser? The portal page for ServInt (portal.servint.net) contains three fields, and no matter how many times I delete and re-save the form data, I can never get 1Password to reliably auto-fill all of the fields. Usually only the username and password fields get autofilled but the portal ID remains blank.
On my Mac, this is more of an annoyance than anything—I have to open the login in 1Password, click the "Saved form details" button, and retrieve the portal ID there and manually paste it in.
However, in 1Password Browser, although I can tap the "I" next to a login to see some details on that login when I tap the key icon in the tab bar at the bottom of the view, I don't have the option to view "Saved form details", which means I have to get out of 1Password Browser then look up the login to get access to saved form details.
Any chance this could be added?
Thanks!

Hi @fongd,
Any chance this could be added?
Possibly in the future. :) But for now a workaround may be to create a custom section within the ServInt login item and add the portal ID to that. It won't fill, but you'll be able to access the information more easily than going through the saved form details.
I hope that helps. Should you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to ask.

Why is ’Saved Form Details' hidden inaccessible from the 1P browser of the Mobile Safari extension by default?
If the user can view in the 1P iOS app why isn’t it able to be viewed in the 1P browser?
This is a constant pain point when I’m redirected to a mobile site that 1P refuses to paste the 3rd login criterion. The non-mobile site 1P pastes all 3 login criteria without issue.
Additionally in the 1P Mac Safari extension the user can select ‘show web form details’. So the user expects similar access in 1P Mobile Safari extension and 1P iOS browser. The user’s needs are the same whether using 1P on mobile or desktop.

I'm afraid I don't know the definite answer as to "why" but if I had to guess:
- For the vast majority of people and the vast majority of login items the "saved form details" section is something they never have to / do look at.
- The extension isn't intended to be a replacement for the main app. It is intended as quick access to filling in Safari (or other apps).
- Depending on the device in question there can be very limited screen real estate. On an iPad or iPhone Plus model this probably isn't much of a concern. On an iPhone 4S you want to conserve as many pixels as possible. To maintain a consistent experience across mobile devices that is accessible on all supported mobile devices we have to limit what information we present in the extension.
If there is something essential in "saved form details" that the user needs to access regularly it should probably be added in a custom section which is then visible in the extension.
Additionally in the 1P Mac Safari extension the user can select ‘show web form details’. So the user expects similar access in 1P Mobile Safari extension and 1P iOS browser. The user’s needs are the same whether using 1P on mobile or desktop.
Almost universally the Macs (and Windows PCs) have a lot more screen real estate than mobile devices. It isn't at all uncommon to have different feature sets and functions between desktop and mobile.
