1Password does nothing when clicking on the browser extension. [Resolved]
Hi there,
If I have a login for a website and open that webpage in the browser and click the button then nothing happens, if I open a totally unknown webpage (no login) then I get the normal message for no logins found.
Thx
Timo

Hi @ntimo,
I need more details. What browser are you using, what version is 1Password 6 beta installed, and does it happen to any random website or a specific one?
As of 163d, it should not be normal to see no matching item found, we've made a lot of improvements in this area, so we now need to know how to reproduce this.
One thing is that we're aware that if you're on
https://
site and you have a Login item withhttp://
saved, it will report no matching item found. This will be improved.0 -
@MikeT Iam using Google Chrome and have the 163d version installed. Ok it seems like the issue fixed it self? Don't know. Now it works well thats strange. Maybe a restart of my computer did it. Oh I its my mistake. If there is only one login then 1Pw will fill it automatically. I forgot that sorry. Everything just works as expected.

Hi @ntimo,
I'm glad to hear that, thanks for letting us know.
If there is only one login then 1Pw will fill it automatically.
Yep, right now, we don't have a shortcut where it can just pop up instead of filling. This will be improved over time to match what we did with 1Password 4, clicking brings up the menu and keyboard shortcut will fill right away.

Hi @timo,
It'll be a lot of work either way since we can't reuse what we have in 1Password 4 and we have to build a new extension view anyway. The goal for 1Password 6 is to be consistent with all 1Password apps, so we are going to do everything we can to do just that and that means 1Password mini design as well.
We may not be able to do it in one quick update but as you've seen from our updates lately, we do release updates often to iterate on new features.
