1Password executables that need to be targets for ESET firewall rules

I have successfully run the Wireless sync, but only with my firewall disabled. I reviewed your help and conclude that I have not defined the proper rules. I attempted to create a rule for the 1Password executable, local ports 5252, 6363, UDP bi-directional, remote ports 5252,6363 in my trusted zone.

Have I gotten the form of the rule correct? If so, for which other executables must I create rules for this to work - Agile1pAgent, Agile1pBroker or Agile1pLogin (or all)?

Thanks in advance for the help,

1Password Version: 4.6.0.604
Extension Version: 6.3.3
OS Version: Windows 7 x64 Pro

@asahukar: You can find a guide for this in our knowledgebase:

Configure Windows firewall or proxy server

Wi-Fi Sync-specific information is at the bottom there, but I wanted to direct you to the whole thing since other 1Password functionality can be affected as well (browser integration, etc.)

Also, I'll try to address your original questions here, in case that's all you need. Make sure you set exceptions for both 1Password and Apple's Bonjour for Wi-Fi Sync:

    • C:\Program Files\Bonjour\mdnsresponder.exe — Port 5353 (UDP)
    • C:\Program Files\1Password 4\1Password.exe — Port 6262 (TCP)*

*6263 is actually used for browser integration, not syncing.

Bonjour might be the piece of the puzzle you're missing here. Let me know how it turns out! :)
