Windows 10's Anniversary Update is upon us and should be released in a month. Projections state that it'll be released sometime in July. Well, with that said, the Anniversary Update brings something to Microsoft Edge that it's been sorely lacking from the very beginning... EXTENSIONS!

So... will 1Password be supporting Microsoft Edge with an extension capable of being downloaded from the Microsoft Store to install into Microsoft Edge. There's a few extensions already to be had for Microsoft Edge including AdBlock and AdBlock Plus.

@trparky: We've been investigating the latest support in Edge on Insider builds and unfortunately there are some key differences from Chrome's implementation, which Edge was purported to use, so it may not be as simple as we and other developers had hoped. But we're excited to finally have a chance to dig into Edge and are looking into ways of getting the 1Password extension working there. :)

    Hi guys,

Microsoft has announced August 2nd as the release date for the Anniversary update.

We've started to work on our Edge extension but unfortunately, as Brenty mentioned, there are critical (for us) features missing that may mean we won't be able to get 1Password working in Edge by August 2nd. We're still investigating for alternative solutions and hope to find one soon.
