1Password issues in Windows 10
Since moving to windows 10 I have the following two problems which seem to be showing up increasingly.
The first screen shot (Log in Screen Shot), shows an error message in the bottom right corner. After a while it disappears and the site log in screen appears but is not populated. However if I click on the 1Password browser icon the web site is there: I click on it and the boxes populate and I may go to the site automatically or I may have manually to click "log-in".
The second screen shot, (Log in Screen Shot 2), shows the second problem. Unless I manually click on "log-in" I do not get to the forum. This does not happen with all log-ins but it does with most.
I had neither of these problems before I moved to Windows 10 and yes the automatic upgrade did not work and I had to do a clean install!
Any thoughts?

@Andrew42: Ah, I see. I'm sorry for the trouble! Unfortunately this is due to some limitations of Internet Explorer, which is notoriously bad about loading add-ons when opening new pages. What happens is that it takes too long and 1Password isn't able to fill — thus, the error when it fails. However, there are a few ways to work around this:
- Use a different browser. Seriously. Microsoft is no longer developing Internet Explorer, so its days are numbered anyway. And Firefox, Chrome, Vivaldi, and Opera are fully supported by 1Password and have more advanced extension frameworks that just allow 1Password to work better.
- Use the 1Password add-on within Internet Explorer. What I mean by this is instead of opening a site from the main 1Password app, do it from within the browser. And if you change Settings > Open login in > Current tab that helps IE as well, rather than opening a new one each time and hitting the same wall.
- Use
Ctrl \
to fill once IE has loaded the page fully.
Let me know if any of that helps! :)
P.S: I removed the second screen shot since it included your email address.

Thanks. Classic vicious circle. I only use IE because Edge and 1Password don't gel and being old and set in my ways I've never used any other browser except Netscape or whatever it is called. Maybe I'll bite the bullet and try Chrome.

I have installed Firefox and have exactly the same problem as I had in IE. I click on the browser icon, select a favorite, this forum for example, it brings up the log in screen and either populates it or simply leaves it blank. In the latter case I click on the browser button again and select the forum which is shown at the top, it then populates and stops. To access the forum I have to click on Log in. If on the other hand it populates the log in screen, first go, it then stops and I have to click the log in button to get access. Do I have a corrupt opvault or what ??

Hi @Andrew42,
No, your vault is fine.
You've mentioned two issues, the iframe error which should not be a problem in Firefox as it doesn't block iframe by default like IE does. Try the site in your screenshot; cellartracker.com. You should be able to fill on that site now instead of getting the error 1Password could not find any fields to fill.
The second issue sounds like an auto-submit issue. Try this and let me know if it works better:
- Open Firefox or IE,
- Visit the forum's login page manually: https://discussions.agilebits.com/entry/login
- Press the 1Password icon to select the Login item
Does it fill and submit for you?
If not, click on the 1Password icon, go to Settings, is Auto-submit Logins selected?

Thanks, Mike for the follow-up.
You are correct I do not have the first problem any more.
However the second problem still exists. I went to the forum log in page manually as you suggested. When I got there 1Password filled in the boxes automatically but did not submit the answers. I clicked on the icon and it showed two items:
Agilebits Forum (which is how I named this log in)
discussions.agilebits.com
If I click on the first one nothing changes but the login is still not submitted
If I click on the second one the user name changes to something like http:/
Yes Auto-submit Logins is checked.By the way I also have exactly the same issue with my IPad although there I have not found out how to check that Auto-Submit is checked.

Hi @Andrew42,
The mobile devices do not support auto-submit, you have to tap on the login button manually. This is intentional as auto-submit doesn't work well on the mobile sites.
I don't see any auto-submit issue on the forum using Firefox, it does submit for me. Let's get your diagnostics report to see if we're missing anything else.
Please use this guide to generate the 1Password diagnostic report and email it to us at support+windows@agilebits.com. Also, in the email, include the link to this thread along with your forum username, so that we can connect the email to this thread.
Let us know here when you've sent it, so we can confirm we got the email.
