Default "activate app" shortcut causes problem on AZERTY keyboard

Hi,

The default "activate app" keyboard is Ctrl + Alt + .

On an AZERTY layout (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AZERTY#/media/File:KB_France.svg), this poses a conflict as the "\" doesn't have a direct key but is instead done by typing Ctrl + Alt + _ or AltGr + _.

With the default setting, 1Password pops out when one tries to type a \, which is pretty annoying as you can guess!!

Regards,

Renaud

    I found a related discussion : https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/66997/keyboard-shortcut-ctrl-alt#latest
On many layouts, Ctrl-Alt (or AltGr) is used for extra characters (on French KB it's on almost all non alphabetical keys) and should not be used by app shortcuts at all, IMHO. This is true also for the US international layout, which has extra characters on almost all keys including alphabetical.

Hey @poussah, thanks for getting back to us with this issue. I've made a note of it and we'll be looking at a less obtrusive default setting for the keyboard shortcut.

In the meantime, I suggest going to "Settings> options" and in the "General" tab under "Keyboard shortcuts" change "Activate app by..." from # to a key that won't cause conflicts for your current setup.
