1Password Browser Extension not showing logins [use Ctrl+Alt+\ to invoke the app anywhere]
Hello,
since I upgraded my 1password from the default test-installation to a monthly subscription, my 1password is not working anymore.
- My browser extention does not react after I performed a login
- If I click on the extention icon, my 1password opens and askes me enter my master-pw, 6-7 sec. laters is see the "new" small window to search for a login but... nothing is shown in the window.
So, I don't know what to do, to get my 1password up running again.

Hey @slxSlashi,
Thanks for reaching out.
I think you might be getting confused—and rightfully so—by the fact that the 1Password browser extension only shows logins in the browser for the site you're currently on and if you have a login saved for it. This will be improved soon.
You can invoke 1Password mini (the smaller view) from anywhere in the system by pressing
Ctrl+Alt+\
.Please let us know if this helps.
Cheers,
Alex

Hello Alex,
this ok, but my Browser does not save any passwords. The option "Options => Browser => Automaically submit logins after filling
does not work.0 -
@slxSlashi: I'm sorry for the confusion. The 1Password 6 Windows desktop beta app does not yet support autosave. But are you saying that auto_submit_ is not working either? Which browser version are you using? We'll look into this!

@slxSlashi: Hmm. I'm using Chrome 53 as well, and as an example, I just used 1Password to fill my forum login at https://discussions.agilebits.com/entry/signin?Target=
Are you unable to use
Ctrl \
to fill your login here? What happens when you try?0 -
@brenty: Since I'm facing the same issue, I tried Ctrl \ ... no autosave, no dialogue, no pop-up whatsoever... Same with Mozilla (could have tested Edge, but as I learned it's not supported yet).
System:
Chrome 53.0.2785.116 m (64-bit) or
Mozilla Firefox ESR 45.3.0
Windows 10 pro,
on a Lenovo Yoga 260
with German keyboard (yes, these layouts do exist :chuffed: )...
Any idea?
Thx in advance,

@Olaf_Rasch: I'm sorry for the confusion! As I mentioned above, the 1Password 6 Windows desktop beta does not yet have an autosave feature, so that's why you're not being prompted.
Regarding the other issue you're having, could you be more specific? Are you seeing the 1Password button in your browser after installing the extension? Which version do you have installed? It sounds like something may be blocking communication between 1Password and the extension, which will render the extension non-functional. Do you have "security" software which could be interfering? Please let me know what you find!

Hi guys,
The latest beta should now support the autosave feature, please give it a try and let us know if it works.
However, if you don't get anything via
Control + \
attempts, that's usually a sign of interference with an anti-malware solution as Brenty mentioned. Please let us know what solution you're using, so we can test it if we can.0
