Windows 7 and chrome cannot connect to 1password helper
"Either the helper is not running, or something is preventing it from communicating with the 1Password browser extension."

I was not able to download and install the windows app either.
After downloading I ran the exe file and the message reported...
"Your installation will not occur. See below for reasons why"
"Same or higher version of .NET Framework 4.5 has already been installed on this computer."
How canI resolve this problem?

@BWrites: Sorry for the trouble! It sounds like you may not have the latest version of .Net. Please install a fresh copy from Microsoft's site:
https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/dotnet/2016/08/02/announcing-net-framework-4-6-2/
and then try installing the latest beta of 1Password 6:
