Syncing iOS App with PC 4.6 via WiFi
- PC Windows 10 Pro 64 bit with 1Password 4.6.0.604
- iPhone 6+ iOS 9.3.5 app 6.4.4
- iPad Air iOS 9.3.5 app 6.4.4
- WiFi Sync
- iCloud Sync
I want to sync my PC with my iOS devices.
Steps:
1. Update Secure Note on my PC
2. Using WiFi, sync iPhone using WLAN sync (so far, so good, as iPhone Secure Note is updated)
3. Using my iPhone, I switch from WLAN to "Sync with iCloud" to ensure that my iPad will become current via iCloud
4. "1Password found existing data in iCloud. It will be merged with your vault." Cancel or Merge. I choose Merge.
5. Now, I have lost my updates to my Secure Note on my iPhone.
At Step 4, I would have expected that the iPhone data would supersede or overwrite the iCloud Secure Note data as it is more recent. I have even allowed an hour to go by in case there were an issue between the PC clock time and iCloud clock time or something. No difference. I keep losing my changes to my Secure Note.
Incidentally, if I add a Step 6 to Sync iPhone with my PC via WiFi, my PC loses its update to the Secure Note.
What am I doing wrong? Or what must I do to make my iCloud current?
1Password Version: 6.4.4

Okay, so this is what I attempted next.
Steps
- Delete iCloud storage associated with 1Password - Settings > iCloud > Storage > Manage Storage > Edit > Delete All
- Updated 1Password Secure Note on PC
- Synced PC and iPhone. Unfortunately, I lost revisions on PC. In other words, old data took precedence and overwrote the newer data.
At this point, I am inclined to delete apps on iPhone and iPad, while making sure that there is NO iCloud data. Then, reinstall apps and resync apps with PC.
This sure seems difficult.
Alternatively, I might just figure out how to convert everything to my Families Plan. I have a hunch that I might to get my iOS devices working first, and then download and install the PC app.
Any help would sure be appreciated.

I have transferred everything to my Family Account. No need to respond to this thread.

To be honest, I am a little disappointed. The syncing function didn't seem to work very well. As you see from my thread, I had to resort to switching to my Family Plan. I was due to switch over anyway, but still, the syncing should have worked.

I'm sorry you feel that way.
the syncing should have worked.
It should have, yes. And for future reference (or for anyone else reading) we're happy to help troubleshoot any issues like this.
But part of the reason we developed our own 1Password.com services was based on feedback from customers regarding their experience using the 3rd party services we support.
