Issues with 1Password 6
I'm digging the new 1Password, but I have a couple issues.
The first is minor. When I upgraded from 4 to 6 and linked my Dropbox, it seems to have found three vaults there, all identical as far as I can tell. Now there are three copies of every login, identity, and credit card in my 1Password. Is there an easy/safe way to clean up my Dropbox so there's only one vault?
The second issues I've run into is that auto-fill of forms in Firefox 48.0.2 doesn't work. I click the browser extension icon, search for my identity, then click it in the drop-down menu. But the form doesn't get filled, and nothing else will appear in the drop-down menu (list is empty) unless I lock 1Password and unlock it again.
I use NoScript and RequestPolicy in Firefox, but 127.0.0.1 is whitelisted in both extensions.
1Password Version: 6.0.214d
Extension Version: 4.5.9
OS Version: Windows 10
Sync Type: Dropbox

So I guess I just hope these issues are resolved in future patches.

Hi @nonegrade,
I've moved your thread to our Windows Beta forum. First, please restart the app to make sure you're updated to our 222d update as your original post said you were using 214d at the time.
I'm glad you're liking it so far.

That sounds like a bug we had last week where if you click on Open three times on a Dropbox vault, it would replicate it three times too. We've fixed it in the follow-up updates but it's not a retrograde fix.
To fix this for now, click on Settings on top right to select Accounts & Vaults and below under Dropbox section, you should see all three duplicated vaults. If yes, expand their submenu to select Remove Vault for all three.
Once you do that, re-add the vault via Dropbox again but only press Open once this time. It may take a while for it to finish downloading the vault.
Let me know if it is working better now.
I click the browser extension icon, search for my identity, then click it in the drop-down menu.
When you said you searched for your identity, do you mean an actual
Identity
item or a Login item for the site you want to log in with?0 -
The vault fix worked, thanks.
I mean the Identity item that in 1Password 4 I could use to automatically fill out online forms with my personal information.

Ah, thanks for clarifying! Yes, we'll be adding filling support for Identities and Credit Cards in a future update, but for the time being its limited to Logins. Thanks for participating in the beta! :)
