Chrome extension with 1Password 6 is not as useful as it was with 1Password 4

Sure, with the new version, it shows me login information when I'm already on a site.
With the old one, that would be at the top if I was on a site with a password, but there would also be a list of other sites. I would use that from any tab to open another site, typically a favorite, and it would open in a new tab. I didn't have to navigate to the site before 1Password was useful. I miss that already.

  • Hi @AdamRichardson,

Thanks for taking the time to write in. I've moved your thread to our Windows Beta forum as it appears you're using that product. My colleague Alex has just replied to another customer with a similar question, which I believe will address your concern as well:

The short answer is that we do have plans to improve this, but that is currently how it works.

  • @AdamRichardson as my colleagues noted this is not yet perfected, we are working on it. The simplest workaround I can suggest is to press Ctrl+\ twice. First time it will open list filtered by current web page URL (if it's new tab, then all login items are listed). Second Ctrl+\ will reopen 1Password mini with all items available. Hope that helps :)

Thanks for the update. Glad to know you're working on it. I'm glad it wasn't just axed for no reason. I'll use those tips for now.
