Why am I being asked to re-enter my account info after a simple update?
Just updated 1password for families on my Windows 10 laptop. I was then presented with a challenge page requiring me to resubmit my account info including my key. I am on the road for two weeks and of course, I do not carry my account info with me when I go. So I am now effectively locked out of my accounts. What am I supposed to do now???

@morgul63: Sorry for the confusion! As mentioned in the update notification, we've made some pretty substantial changes "behind the scenes" to prepare for the end of beta, and that meant doing some "clean up" when installing the new version. I'm really sorry for the inconvenience caused by the beta process during your travels. But the good news is you can open the previous version of the app and use that in a pinch...or better yet, login to the 1Password.com web interfaced to access your credentials and login to your 1Password Account in the new beta. I hope this helps! :)

@morgul63 I believe you have had version 6.0.186 and you have upgraded to one of the latest (6.0.219 as of today). 6.0.186 was the last one where we used old database model and access technology, with it's change we had to ask everyone to sign in again.
But, I understand since you are on the road and do not have account key, you need 6.0.186 restored, please uninstall current version and install 6.0.186 from here. When we started to use new database we started to use new file, your data from 6.0.186 is safely at the same place - %localappdata%\1password\20160514.sqlite file. Just ignore updates till you can get back to your account key.
Another option that might work for you - sign in to your account in browser, you can find account key on the Get the apps page. If you have one of the latest versions installed, just drag and drop QR code over app, it will prefill your domain, account key and email. Hope that helps ;)

I was able to reinstall the old version and get going. I will be sure to update when I can. Thanks for your help and keep up the good work.

Likewise, thanks for participating in the beta, even through some rough patches. We're here if you need us!
