Context Menu when right-clicking covers taskbar.
When one right-clicks on the 1Password icon in the tray, the context menu covers the taskbar. Should it pop up directly above the icon?

@ryanj: You know, that's a good question. So good, in fact, that I wasn't sure of the answer off the top of my head. I think a good case can be made for either, but consistency is probably the most important factor. When I compared this to all the other notification icons I have (including Windows mainstays like battery, network, and sound), they all exhibit the same behaviour though, with it appearing hovering over the icon.
I think maybe the reason there was doubt in both of our minds is that this is in contrast to the contextual menus for task bar icons. I'm not sure why Microsoft made this decision, but I think it makes sense to at least be consistent with the OS. And frankly I'm not sure we can "choose" where the menu opens exactly without resorting to some shenanigans. Definitely an interesting observation though. Thanks for bringing this up! :)

Hi guys,
The consistent behavior is to pop up above the mouse cursor's tip. You can see this if you right-click on near the top of the icon and compare it to the bottom. 1Password isn't consistent here and we'll improve this if we can. The problem is made worse if you move the taskbar to the top, then they all have the same problem that 1Password has, they still show up on top of the cursor tip blocking the taskbar.
As for the taskbar icons, they're not using the same context menus. On the taskbar, they're generated by Windows on the fly to support jumplist, pinning, and other features, unlike the notification icons that comes with the custom ones provided by the developers.
