Imported Tags [Cannot modify tags yet]

I just upgraded to the subscription service from 1Password 6 on my windows 10 computer as well as my iPhone and iPad. I finally got everything set up but after doing a sync on iCloud and Dropbox, I have two imported tags on my devices as well as on my computer. I only want to keep the last one I imported today on 09/15/16. How do I delete the other tag that was imported on 08/25/16 (the old one)?
Thanks!
Scott

  • Hi @sokolich,

You cannot modify tags just yet in the Windows app, it is something we will add in a future update. However, you can do this with the iOS app. Open 1Password on your iOS device, go to the Organize tab and tap on Edit on top to remove a tag.

    Hi Mike!
That is what I thought but on the organize tab I do not have an EDIT button.

  • Hi @sokolich,

My apologies, I didn't check that I was using a beta version of 1Password for iOS on my iPhone. This is coming in the next update, 1Password 6.5 for iOS, soon but I don't have a specific timeframe.

  • You're welcome, thanks for writing in about this.

  • Hi @sokolich,

Just to be sure, did you just want to delete the tag itself or did you want to delete the whole dataset associated with the tag?

The whole dataset associated with the tag.
    Thanks!

  • Hi @sokolich,

In that case, select the tag on the sidebar and when the item list is updated, right-click on it to select Select all and then right-click again to select Move to Trash. This will move the whole dataset tagged with that specific name.
