Can I Use chrome extension without install the desktop app
Hi, I would like to use my new 1Password account in my PC at work, but I can't install software there.
So, it is possible to use the chrome extension without installing the app?

Hi @specialgart,
You can use the 1Password.com web app to access your data and to make changes as well but it won't support filing or anything like that.
We don't yet have self-contained extensions that doesn't require a local program. This is something we'd like to do in the future with 1Password.com but we don't have a timeframe on this.
Is the reason you can't install 1Password 6 at work because you don't have admin rights or is it something else?

We're looking into providing a separate version of 1Password without the installer, so you don't need admin rights. 1Password 6 doesn't need it but the installer does.
