  • Hi @stephen636,

I would recommend making a copy of your 1Password directory to a USB drive to retain its backups. You can find it in your Documents > 1Password directory.

If all of your vaults are already in Dropbox, all you have to do is install Dropbox first on the new PC and then once it is done syncing, install 1Password. Open 1Password, it'll detect the existing vaults in your Dropbox vault and you can select one to unlock it.

If you haven't yet moved all of the vaults to Dropbox, here's how:

    1. Open 1Password, go to the File Menu > Reopen 1Password vault to select the vault that's not in Dropbox yet. Unlock, and go to the File Menu > Preferences > General.
    2. Click on Move to Dropbox
    3. Repeat for each vault on your list

If you don't want to use Dropbox, we have other suggestions in our guide here.

    That will work.

  • Sounds good, let us know if there's anything else we can do for you.
