Firefox - looking for the 1Password helper

Windows 7. 1Password 6.0.225d. Firefox extension 4.5.9

I get the message looking for the 1Password helper every time I click on the extension. Have removed and reinstalled but still no good.

@MikeT just some further info - when i open firefox, i get a message on the system tray "1password refused connection from untrusted source. Check logs for details."
