Hey @Pierrehf,
Thanks for writing in with your issue. Can you please elaborate a bit?
I can think of two behaviours where 1Password 6 doesn't stay in the task bar; one is intentional, one is a bug.- Intentional: When you click the
X
button to close the 1Password 6 window, it will minimise itself into the system tray area. Clicking the minimise button on the window should send it to the task bar. - Bug: When you update 1Password 6 to the latest version, a link that you might've added to the task bar will not work anymore.
Which one of these two is it? Or is it something else? In which case I'd like to ask you to tell us the exact version number of 1Password 6 that you're using. You can find it in the settings menu (gear icon).
Cheers,
Alex

Hey Pierre,
Sorry for the confusion. The two icons show two different versions of 1Password. The active one is 1Password 6 and the icon on the left is for 1Password 4.
Can you please explain what you mean by:
one to open the app and the other one the app should be open, mine as soon as I minimise she disappear.
Thanks,
Alex

@AlexHoffmann I think you accidentally pasted the screenshots in the wrong order.
Your Task Bar screenshot shows the Notification Area (previously called System Tray).
Your System Tray screenshot shows the Pinned Tasks (previously called Quicklaunch Bar) and Task Bar.It doesn't help that Microsoft keeps renaming things.
I'll try to help with this screenshot from Microsoft:

Dangnabbit @Temptin, you're absolutely right!
@Pierrehf, I apologise for any confusion I've caused. 1Password 6 version 6.0.239 will automatically minimise 1Password into the notification area when you click the minimise button. You can disable this in Settings > Options > General.
In the upcoming release the 1Password 6 window will behave just like any other window: using the minimise button will minimise it to the task bar, using the close button will close the window.
One note though: even when the 1Password 6 window is closed, the app is still running in the background, allowing you use 1Password mini. To completely exit 1Password 6, right click on the icon in notification area.I hope this helps!
