1Password mini in dock - non-intuitive behavior

I just clicked on the 1Password dock icon, it prompted me for my password, soon as I put it in, 1Password for windows launched as the main window. I simply wanted quick access from the dock.

Now if I close 1Password beta and click on the dock icon again, it works exactly as you'd think (1Password mini). Any way to change this or possible future update?

1 more.. and this one is really annoying.

I was just using Excel at work and while typing suddenly 1Password became the primary window and the lock animation occurred. I didn't call it, didn't need it, and definitely didn't want my workflow interrupted by 1Pass to show me it was locking itself. Can this just take place in the background without taking over my machine?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hi @reemas,

These will be mostly addressed in the next update, it won't open the main window when it auto-locks in the background and it shouldn't open the main window when you want to access 1Password mini.
