Entry problem in 1Password - fields are blocked and not showing entries as you type.
I recently bought a new MBP. I migrated data and software from my old machine to my new by restoring from my time machine backup. All seemed to go smoothly. However, I have just noticed that when entering new records in 1P, the entry fields are blocked and not showing as you type in them. When buying the new MBP it came with the upgraded El Capitan OS and that is new from the Yosemite OS that was on my old MBP.

@RMBirger: Indeed. I'm sorry for the trouble! 1Password 3 was developed in 2009 and supports OS X Snow Leopard and Lion. El Capitan in particular introduced a number of incompatibilities. You can read more details in the announcement at the top of this forum category:

1Password 6, one the other hand, fully supports OS X Yosemite, El Capitan, and macOS Sierra. You'll have a better experience there, so you may want to consider upgrading. I hope this helps! :)
