Reboot without user consent?

I was trying to update the beta, and when the 1pw update window disappeared, the reboot was automatically initialized without asking me anything about that. I wasn't doing anything serious but what if I was doing something critical and it didn't autosave?

I know it's beta and I have to expect such things but this is omg geez.

@revi as far as i know there is no any reboot requirement in 1Password, is it possible that reboot was initiated by Windows Update? You can check Windows Update history to find out.

    Hope that helps :)

Nope, it wasn't windows update. Update log says last update was performed on 2016-09-19.

  • That's the first time we hear of such behavior. 1Password uses MSI (Windows Installer) which could trigger reboot, but I never saw it doing so without user consent. We'll keep investigating, thank you for the alert!
