When I start 1Password with Czech Programmers keyboard layout, neither shortcut works. (It's basically US layout with some extra shortcuts for Czech characters.)

(But when I start 1Password with US layout and then switch to Czech Programmers, it works.)

1Password Version: 6.0.252d
Extension Version: 4.6.1.90
OS Version: Windows 10 (1607)
Sync Type: personal 1Password account

  • Hi @the_ress,

Thanks for writing in. We are planning to add a full keyboard shortcut editor, so you can tell 1Password what shortcut to use for each action from the start to the beginning.

Is this the Czech Programmers Keyboard layout: https://www.microsoft.com/resources/msdn/goglobal/keyboards/kbdcz2.html

Are you using the AltGr key on the right side? What about the \ key, does it matter if you try it on the bottom left or top right?

The only thing I can think of is that Windows is having a hard time mapping our shortcut to your layout since it has multiple methods of getting Control + Alt + \, which also equals to AltGr + \. One goal for the keyboard shortcut editor is that when you enter the shortcut, it'll map it directly from your input.

For now, have you try changing the shortcut via 1Password > Settings > Options > General to see if it'd work better?
