Does the Chrome extension work with 1password 6?
I have given up waiting for edge extension and moved to chrome. I installed release version of ipw 6 6.1.272d and extension for chrome and checked settings. With 1pwd 6 open or closed I add login and pwd and go to the icon on chrome address bar and a says vault is locked enter password. I do and does not accept it try again. No joy. Same with opera. Reboot no effect.

Hi @teal_oak,
Yes, our 1Password extension for Chrome, Firefox, Opera, and Vivaldi are supported with 1Password 6, it's been working for a little over a month now.
Is it possible 1Password 4's Helper is still running on your PC? Try opening the Task Manager and look for 1Password (32-bit) process, it'd have the white lock icon if you're on Windows 8.1 or 10. If you do see it, select it and terminate it.
Once you do that, restart Chrome and see if 1Password mini shows up from 1Password 6 now.

Chrome extension has been working fine for me. Except today I noticed clicking on the extension icon does nothing. Nothing pops up. I open 1password program, login, it works. I click on Chrome extension icon again and still nothing happens. I restart Chrome and it works again. First time this ever happened. Must be related to latest update

Hi @mzaurov,
Thanks for sharing your experience.
Could you email us your 1Password logs, it might tell us what happened.
- Click on the start button to search for Event Viewer, open it.
- On the left sidebar, expand Applications and Services Logs, 1Password should show up below here
- Right click on 1Password to select Save all events as and save it as 'logs.txt', set Save as Type to Text (tab delimited) (*.txt)
- Email that file to us at support+windowsbeta@agilebits.com and in the email, also include the link to this thread along with your forum username.
Let us know here when you've sent the email, so we can confirm we got it.

MikeT Thanks that worked. When you say terminate 1pwd 4 helper, I could only end task. How do I remove permanently? Should I now uninstall 1pwd 4 now that 1pwd 4 is released officially.
regards

Hi @teal_oak,
End Task is the same as Terminate, I should've use End Task. My apologies for not using the same term.
If you're happy with 1Password 6 and has no need for 1Password 4, you should uninstall it. Your data won't be removed, so you can always reinstall 1Password 4 later if you need to.
If you don't want to uninstall just yet, you can disable the 1Password 4's Helper from starting automatically in the Task Manager's Startup tab, it would be named 1Password in there.
