Browser Extension and App
I was rolling out 1Pass Windows pretty early on and the app had to be installed via Microsoft Store. Then came back after a period of several months and the app seems to be distributed directly. Is that correct and is there a post describing the transition?
Windows Chrome extension seems very barebones. There is no password generation nor identity. Is there an ETA on this? Is the extension being rebuilt for windows 10?

Hi @lesserevil,
Thanks for writing in. We're still planning to do a major upgrade to the app at the Windows Store. Right now, it is waiting on something before we can share more details.
For now, we are recommending folks to download directly from our site if they're on PCs as it is the only version with the browser extension support.
There is no password generation nor identity.
If you right-click on the 1Password mini icon in the notification area, you'll see the Password Generator option. You can use it to generate a new password you can copy to fill onto the site. It looks like this:
You can also see the same option via the 1Password mini's options on the top right, this is useful if you bring up 1Password mini via the
Control + Alt + \
shortcut. For Identity, we will implement the ability to fill Identity and Credit Card items in a future update. For now, you can bring up 1Password mini, search for the Identity item and right-click on it to copy the field you need.
Is there an ETA on this? Is the extension being rebuilt for windows 10?
1Password extension doesn't have a UI or data, it's the 1Password mini that's built into 1Password that's powering the view/data for you.
We are building up 1Password mini and adding more features over time. We do plan to support Credit Card/Identity filling, the categories grouping, the item's detail viewers/editor and so on. We don't have any timeframes but it is on top of our list.

Ok thanks, I've been using your software for years and the extension / overall experience especially on a mac is the gold standard. As I'm rolling out "teams" in the office it's a little harder of a sell since we're mostly on windows and 1pass experience is lagging behind.

@lesserevil: On behalf of Mike you are very welcome! We are working hard on bringing 1Password 6 for Windows to parity with 1Password on Mac, but it takes time, because we are building it from the ground up. Please stay tuned for the next updates, we've got a lot of things up our sleeves. :)
Thanks!
