Installation Error for 1P Windows v6.1.272

Hi, attempted to install 1P Windows v6.1.272 downloaded last night from HockeyApp site after reading the Agile blog announcement.

Unfortunately, getting an error during installation that reads "Error 1001. InstallUtilLib.dll: Unknown error".

I would love to utilize my 1Password account on my work machine, but can't seem to get around the above. Any suggestions on how to proceed?

@dude1234: First of all, welcome! I'm sorry it didn't work out the way we all wish it had, but we'll get this sorted out for you!

It sounds like .Net is either out of date or damaged on your system. Please install the current version from here:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53344

Note the ID is 53344. Make sure you're not being redirected to a different one. Some people have reported that happening with Microsoft's site for some reason.

Then, if you're still getting an error, you can use Microsoft's .Net repair tool to get all fixed up:

Hi @brenty: many thanks. I was able to complete the install and login to my 1PT account after updating .Net.
