1Password 6 for Windows - issue with decrypting Data
It seems that the data are not decrypted when the Main window of 1 Password isnt opened and unlocked right after start of computer.
Workflow
Start PC and 1Password is in Autostart
- Unlock the vault in 1Password mini
- ==>All items are still entrypted, the labels are like "//(§(/&/%&§&&%%"/()fsdgsdg4"
- Start Main Window -->Data is decrypted now
- Try again Mini - it works
Same for browser plugin
Am I doing something wrong?

Hi @telephoneman,
That's a peculiar error. Can you please tell us which exact version of 1Password you're using?
Thanks,
Alex

Ok, that's definitely odd.
Can you please reproduce the issue, and immediately afterwards create a Diagnostics Report from your Windows PC:Sending Diagnostics Reports (Windows)
Attach the Diagnostics Report(s) to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.
Please do not post your Diagnostics Report(s) in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report(s) in our inbox.
You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can track down the report(s) and ensure that this issue is dealt with quickly. :)
Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks very much!

I can't do that now (some problems with mail access here)
its easy to reproduce
1. complete quit 1Password
2. Start Application, if Main Window opens, dont login- just close - just mini is running
3. Login in 1Password Mini or PluginSee everything is still encrypted in the first try.

Hi @telephoneman,
This is somewhat of a known issue and not related to the decryption but a refresh issue. Right now, 1Password has to refresh after the decryption is done but for some users, it didn't do that refresh.
As a test for us, can you wait a minute, does it ever refresh on its own?
This will be addressed in a future update, we are working to remove the need of the refresh in the first place.

Hi @MikeT yes wait a minute helps

We're working on eliminating this delay. I've been seeing this every now and then as well.
Cheers,
Alex
