Missing Logins [Fixed by signing-in again with the updated 1Password account password]

I'm trying out 1Password 6 Beta and I have a specific login that appears to be missing (not sure what else is missing) but I can see it just fine on my Mac systems or if I uninstll 1P 6 Beta and reinstall the 1P4 version. They should both be reading my DropBox folder with the files.

I've tried uninstall/reinstalling a few times already without success.
Any ideas on what to do next?

@jamng I'm not with AgileBits but I'm guessing they'll want a diagnostic log from version 4 and 6, or at least 6, emailed to their support with the case # posted here (no diagnostics logs here in the forums!). Probably a good place to get a jumpstart; I'd assume there's either corruption in the Dropbox file or an edge case in one of the two engines, but that's for them to figure out and the software will be better for it :-) I'm sure they'll have more specifics soon if you want to wait or if they have something else in mind!

Also per https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/70477/missing-logins-in-windows-beta you may want to delete the 1Password 6 data folder (not the Dropbox folder!) after an uninstall so it recreates the local cache on install and see if it goes any better.

Thanks! I haven't had a problem with 1P in such a long time I forgot all about the diagnostics logs. I'll email them with the logs.

@jamng: Likely part of the problem is that you're using the new 1Password 6 Windows desktop app with a local vault in Dropbox. Local vaults are limited currently, as we have a lot of work to do to support all of 1Password's legacy data format (and variations of these). If you open the vault in 1Password 4 (which does support local vaults fully), are you still encountering this issue? Let me know what you find!

I have beta 6.1.272d installed. Yesterday I created 2 new logins on my teams Shared team Vault. I see those logins on my Mac as well as teams browser, but not on my Windows beta. Even after a whole night has gone by I'm disappointed to see those logins do not show up on my Shared team vault in Windows. I have even killed the app to no avail.

Hey @ekontrec have you changed your account key or master password recently? This can sometimes cause sync issues with 1Password 6 and you would need to sign back into your 1Password account to fix this issue. But, the best way to know is if you send us a diagnostic report.

    1. Open and unlock 1Password.
    2. Select Settings (gear icon) > Export Diagnostics Report.
    3. Save the file to your desktop.
    4. Create an email to support+windows@agilebits.com.
    5. Attach the file and write a description of the problem, then send it.

Let us know when you send the email so we can confirm we've received it.

Ahh yes, that rings a bell. I did change my master pass. I have sent you the diagnostic, but just logged out/in again and I now see those 2 new logins. Thanks

    Hi @ekontrec,

That's great to hear. We are adding a brand new alert system in the next update that will alert you of account changes, sync issues, and more.

Here's what it looks like now in the latest beta:

When you click on it, it will show you the sign-in page to let you enter the password.

Your logs did confirm the app couldn't connect to our servers due to invalid credentials.

I think that will be just the ticket for these sorts of issues, thanks.
