Making documents and attaching documents to logins/CCs/notes etc.
Just a few things about saving documents to 1Password.
In the Windows 1Password 6 app, I am unable to save documents. In the latest beta, I thought it said the picker was fixed, but it doesn't seem to be for me. I can choose a new document, then click the document icon to pull up the file picker and choose a file. I have chosen a PDF and a JPG and after I choose Open, nothing happens. Same thing if I drag from Windows Explorer to the 1Password app.
I can add documents through the Webapp, but that's beside the point. I'm just trying to move things forward with the Windows app.
As for the UX for documents, I understand your decision to make documents independent of the logins and notes and such. However, having no ability to at least link documents to certain logins or notes seems really too far. Would it be possible to at least be able to link a document to another item, like open a Credit Card and see a document attached to it which would have a pic of the actual front and back of the card. The document itself would still be in documents, but the link would show up in a thumbnail inside the Credit Card login once I chose to attach it. That kind of thing.
I know you guys wrote earlier that you were considering adapting your current way of displaying documents as more people than I have expressed reservations with the current methods. What do you think of this way above, it allows documents to be separate but still connected to logins and notes and things.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

@Starmatrix thank you for sharing feedback with us! With one of the next updates there will be a way to reference items, it's in the works right now.
In the Windows 1Password 6 app, I am unable to save documents
Can you please try New Item > Import files as Documents? You can select one or few files to upload and there should be a progress banner at the bottom left side of the 1Password window.
There is lack of feedback now when file is being uploaded inside Document item, after you click Open it will just remember which file you want and silently upload when you click Save. This is something that is being improved as well.
Hope that helps :)

@SergeyTheAgile Thanks for your quick response.
I've tried what you mention about New Item > Import files as Documents. It allows me to pick a file and after I click open it shows uploading of the file. Now after a delay of about 30 seconds, the file shows up in the Documents section. However as I'm sure you're aware, there is no viewer to allow you to see the contents of that file.
Also, can we have the option of allowing all documents to be stored in cache like all other passwords and logins are? Maybe an option for that in settings? Waiting for things to download when you think they are already on your computer can be a bit of a drag. But I'm sure that refinement will be coming down the road.
Thanks again!

Agreed, more feedback and use of local cache would improve things a lot. It's in the works :) Thank you @Starmatrix !
