When hovering over an entry in the extension on a Mac, you get a nice overlay with all the properties of that entry.

Will that be making it's way to the Windows version as it's extremely useful to have and find myself sorely missing it.

  • Hi @blackburn,

Thanks for writing in and yes, we will bring over the same 1Password mini experience from macOS to Windows as fast as we can. We might not be able to replicate the UI exactly but the UX should be more consistent.

The good news is that you can right-click on the item in 1Password mini right now, it'll show you the copy menu to select any field you want to copy like this:

Glad to hear that, I am aware of the context menu but it's nowhere near as nice. However it will make do for now.

    Hi @nblackburn,

Yep, it'd be nice to do the hover action to view the details right away. The question is how to make it work well on touch screens too, we may need you to do a long tap on an item itself to view the details rather than just hovering over it.

Clicking/tapping is fine or navigating with the arrow keys (which i think the mac counterpart allows for).

  • Hi @nblackburn,

Right, once we've implement the detail viewer into 1Password mini, you'll be able to use the arrow keys to bring it up. However, on tablets or Surface Pros, you may not have a keyboard and tap is difficult because you can tap on an item to start filling but what if you want to view the details instead of filling. Long tap to view the contextual menu and swipe to see its details viewer maybe.
