When 1password is installed in i.e. c:\program files, running an update installs in user/appdata ?
We prevent users to start programs from within their local profile path.
So we install 1password in c:\program files\1password
When 1password said it had an update, it uninstalled this version and installed the new version in the user/appdata path?
Why does the update not keep to the original settings.
The update came this morning.
Now I had to uninstall 1password, download the latest version and installed it again in the path we've chosen.

Hey @dirkplug, thanks for messaging us about this issue, and I'm sorry for the trouble here. This is a known issue that occurs for some and something we're working on improving. In the meantime, a workaround for this issue is to install updates using a brand new installer downloaded from here, rather than updating directly from the app.
