    Hello @ruchida,

    Thank you for reaching out!

Am I right to understand that you have installed 1Password 4 and 1Password browser extension on your new laptop and the extension doesn't work? Have you seen the authorisation codes in the browser and in 1Password app? Please let us know.

It is also worth a try to reboot your laptop and see if that helps. I know it sounds obvious, but sometimes the most obvious things work. :)

    Thank you!

Another update: I have uninstalled google chrome and reinstalled it. I have reinstalled 1password from agilebits (the "Big Green Button"). I have rebooted the computer. Still nothing happens when I press the 1password icon in the tool bar of the chrome browser. I don't get an authorization window. Nothing happens. Please help.

Another update. I have gone back to a restore point from a month ago and everything is working again. Don't know what happened, how or why but things are back to "normal". Sorry for the fire drill but I rely on 1password for a lot and love it. I was a little panicked (may be more than a little) when I couldn't get it to work.
Cheers and thanks for a great product.

Hey @ruchida, thanks for writing in with all the detail!

I was preparing a reply to one of your earlier comments, but I now see that you've got the issue fixed after a system restore.

I was going to suggest that you create a new user in chrome and attempt to install the extension there. Users do not share extensions in Chrome, so you'd be installing the 1Password extension as a fresh user. This would help us identify what was causing the issue, and would've also allowed you to use 1Password while we figured out what went wrong with your original user profile.
